FRANK D’SOUZA, co-founder, Cognizant; co-founder, Recognize
Frank D’Souza is co-founder & retired CEO, Cognizant; co-founder, Recognize. Frank joined Cognizant as a co-founder in 1994; it began as a division of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. He serves on the boards of trustees of Carnegie Mellon University, The New York Hall of Science, and the US India Business Council. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum, the Business Round Table, and the Science Visiting Council for the acclaimed PBS science program NOVA. Frank is originally from India, but has lived in nine different countries and traveled to many others. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of East Asia and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
PAUL ROEHRIG, Global Head of Strategy and Transformation, Cognizant Digital Business & Technology
Paul Roehrig is a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Cognizant (a Fortune 200 business and technology company comprised of nearly 300,000 associates) and the Global Head of Strategy and Growth for Cognizant Digital Business & Technology.
He is a co-author of the recently released book Monster: A Tough Love Letter On Taming The Machines That Rule Our Jobs, Lives, and Future (2021) and is also a co-author of two other award-winning and best-selling books: What To Do When Machines Do Everything (2017), and Code Halos: How the Digital Lives of People, Things, and Organizations are Changing the Rules of Business (2014). Paul is a founder and former Global Managing Director of the Center for The Future of Work, where he led a team that researched, wrote, and consulted extensively on challenges and opportunities related to business and technology.
Paul is a sought after presenter at a wide range of public, academic, and industry events such as the World Economic Forum, Dreamforce, Oracle OpenWorld, The Churchill Club, the Atlantic Festival, Politico, and many more across the globe. He has regularly been featured in publications such as Forbes, Business Week, The Economic Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Fortune India, Clarin, The Times of India, Computerworld, and others.
Paul holds a PhD from Syracuse University and was formerly a professional musician. He lives in the Washington, DC, area with his family.
